Soft White Towel – Portraits

My cousin Lota’s been getting into her creative side and came back home from uni over Christmas. She told me of her creative VISIONS she’d like to see realised and I was more than happy to help her along the #process. In the end, we came out with these portraits.

We started off with the simple concept of black masculinity, but needed to add to the conversation. The result is Soft White Towel (working title). It’s a series of portraits that investigates masculinity, beauty and generational differences for both.

It turns out having a small white face towel is suspect. And my cousin had the perfect experience to bring it home, a personal encounter leading to her first Creative Direction project. Soft White Towel will be released on Osengwa this month.
